The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) at Santhiram Engineering College (Autonomous) successfully conducted a four-day workshop on "Generative AI & Prompt Engineering: Transforming Data Science" from March 11 to March 14, 2025. The workshop was organized in collaboration with the SREC IEEE Student Branch (STB17901) and IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (SBC17901F). The event featured Mr. Uma Desu, Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer and Gen AI Pioneer, as the resource person. With extensive expertise in AI, Mr. Desu shared valuable insights into the role of Generative AI and advanced prompt engineering techniques in revolutionizing data science. Students of II B.Tech CSE (Data Science) actively participated in hands-on sessions, discussions, and interactive activities, gaining practical exposure to AI-driven technologies.
