Recognizing the overwhelming demand for computer engineering, the Institute started a 4 year B.Tech course in Computer Science and Engineering in the year 2007 with an intake of 60 students and the intake currently raised to 120 in the year 2014 The department has 21 highly qualified and committed faculty, all of them have a rich experience in teaching, dedication towards the pursuit of academic excellence and they are specialized in diverging areas of technology like Computer Networks, Data Mining, Network Security, Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence etc. The Department of CSE continues to recruit teachers with rich experience in academics, industry, and research and supports them providing superior research facilities. The Department has interaction with industries which have a high reputation and track record. It also has tie-ups with well-known associations like CSI, IEEE in pursuit of excellence reaching higher standards through Research Collaboration, faculty and students have regular interactions together. The department has well-equipped computer laboratories and a rich repository of software covering a wide spectrum of applications. In total there exists a network of 350 computers with internet facility for teaching, research and administration purposes. The other features include projectors to bring a sense of live class environment and for seminars; UPS for uninterrupted use during the power cuts; air condition etc.

To become a center for quality education in the field of computer science & engineering and to create competent professionals.
Having clarity of purpose and a clear picture of what you desire, is probably the single most important factor in achievement. Why is Clarity so important?
Without clarity, you send a very garbled message out to the Universe. We know that the Law of Attraction says that we will attract what we focus on, so if we don’t have clarity, we will attract confusion.

The laboratories are the backbone of engineering course of study, the Laboratory instruction develops students' experimental skills, ability to work in teams and communicate effectively, learn from failure, and be responsible for their own results. We have the following laboratories with full-fledged faculties.
