The Department of Computer Science Engineering in association with the SREC IEEE Student Branch (STB17901) and IEEE Computer Society (SBC17901B), organized a One Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “Mastering the Art of Research” on 21-01-2026 at Lecture Hall. The program was conducted with the objective of enhancing research knowledge, academic writing skills, and publication practices among faculty members to promote a strong research culture within the institution. The FDP focused on providing a comprehensive understanding of research methodologies, problem identification, literature survey techniques, experimental design, and data analysis methods essential for quality research work. Emphasis was placed on effective technical writing, preparation of research papers, citation standards, plagiarism avoidance, and selection of appropriate journals and conferences for publication.
